Kargil Park in Mohali gets Rs 49L facelift
Mohali, January 25
MLA Kulwant Singh and area councillor Sarabjit Singh Samana inaugurated development works worth Rs 49.3 lakh at Kargil Park in Sector 71 here today.
The works include repairing the footpath, paving the track, repairing tiles and installing a yoga shed in the park.
The MLA assured area residents that the fountains in the park would be made functional again. These are lying non-functional for the past two-three years. “More grass will be planted in the park,” he said.
Kulwant Singh said recently, furniture items worth Rs 14.88 lakh were handed over to the library on the premises of the park.
