Karnal man, woman found dead near railway tracks

A Karnal man and an unidentified middle-aged woman were found dead near the railway tracks at Dhakoli on Thursday night. Passersby noticed the bodies and informed the police.

The railway police shifted the body to the mortuary of the Dera Bassi subdivisional hospital. The man has been identified as Balwan Singh of Brahman Majra village in Karnal. However, the identity of the woman, aged around 45, could not be established.

The police handed over Balwan’s body to his kin after post-mortem.
