UT Administrator and Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria unveiled the official logo of the GMI Golf Championship, which is scheduled to be held on November 24, at the Panchkula Golf Course.

This single-day championship will bring together 110 participants from among industry leaders, thinkers and bureaucratic communities, fostering camaraderie and promoting the spirit of golf.

The tournament will culminate with an award ceremony, which is scheduled to be attended by Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya.

The GMI Golf Championship promises a day of exceptional golf and meaningful engagement, set against the stunning backdrop of the Panchkula Golf Course.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.
