Chandigarh: KB DAV-7 organised a lecture-cum-workshop under ‘Jigyasa’ Programme by CSIO staff for Class VIII learners. Gaurav, a PhD scholar, delivered a lecture and emphasised upon the culture of inquisitiveness and scientific temperament. Sachin Kumar and Sahib Singh, MSc students from Postgraduate Government College, Sector 11, also conducted various experiments and activities to make science a fun-learning experience. TNS

Chandigarh: Students and staff of Guru Nanak Public School, Sector 36-D, organised several activities to create awareness about cancer. Students were shown a video presentation on the importance of World Cancer Day. A painting competition was also organised. TNS

Satluj Public School, P’kula

Panchkula: A best wishes party was given to students of Class XII at Satluj Public School, Sector 4, in Panchkula. The programme began with an invocation followed by the speech of Director-Principal Krit Serai. Cultural programmes began with a parody performed on popular songs and a farewell song by Class XII students. A modelling session was organised by Class XII students for Mr & Miss Satluj 2020 titles. Hubble Adarsh Sen Sec, Kalewal

Mohali: Students of Class IX bade farewell to Class X pupils at Hubble Adarsh Senior Secondary School, Kalewal (Mohali). The celebrations began with performances by juniors. Various games were also organised for Class X students. Akram Khan won the title of ‘Mr Hubble’ while Shagun bagged the title of ‘Ms Hubble’. TNS
