Khalsa FC Jalandhar finish on top

Khalsa FC Jalandhar defeated Khalsa FC Gurdaspur 3-1 to win the inaugural Sabat-Soorat Sikh Football Cup at the Sector 42 Sports Complex here.
Gurdaspur took the lead in 27th minute but Jalandhar levelled the scores 18 minutes later as the two teams entered the break at 1-1.
In the second half, Jalandhar pulled up their socks and struck twice to seal a 3-1 win.
Khalsa FC Jalandhar were awarded Rs 5 lakh, while Khalsa FC Gurdaspur received Rs 3 lakh. Twenty-three teams participated in the tournament which kicked off in Amritsar on January 30.
The championship was organised to mark the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev.
