Still waiting to grab their maiden IPL title, Kings XI Punjab will be looking forward to ending the drought this year.
The KL Rahul-led side will play their seven home matches at the IS Bindra PCA Stadium in Mohali. As per the schedule, Kings XI Punjab will face Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 4, Mumbai Indian on April 8, Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 14, Chennai Super Kings on April 17, Kolkata Knight Riders on April 26, Rajasthan Royals on May 8 and Delhi Capitals (DC) on May 16 in Mohali.
In 2014, KXIP managed to reach the finals but failed to lift the trophy as they lost the game to Kolkata Knight Riders. In the last couple of seasons, KXIP got off to a great start but failed to capitalise the chances.
The side will kick off their IPL 2020 campaign against Delhi Capitals on March 30 before hosting two consecutive home matches against Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians in Mohali.
On April 11, the Kings will travel to face former IPL champions Chennai Super Kings before hosting Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 14 and Chennai on April 17.
They will play away matches against defending champions Mumbai Indians on April 20, and against Kolkata Knight Riders on April 23. Three days later, they will host the same opponent in Mohali. In their next away games, they will face Rajasthan Royals on April 29 and Royal Challengers Banglore on May 3.
Back in Mohali, they will host Rajasthan Royals on May 8, followed by their last away game against Sunrisers Hyderabad on May 12. The side will end their group stage back on their home ground by hosting Delhi Capitals on May 16.
