Komal Mittal, a 2014-batch IAS officer, took charge as the Mohali Deputy Commissioner today. She replaced Aashika Jain who has been appointed Hoshiarpur DC.

She was Hoshiarpur DC before joining in Mohali, where she had remained ADC (G) and ADC (UD) in 2021 and 2022. The DC said implementing flagship programmes of the state government, besides spearheading campaign against drugs would be priority. People would be informed about registered travel agents working in the district.
