Local 16-year-old golfer Krish Chawla maintained his dominance on the second consecutive day of the IGU West Bengal Junior Golf Boys Championship at the prestigious Tollygunge Golf Club in Kolkata.

Chawla posted an impressive score of 2-under-par score to lead Day 2. Chawla leads the combined boys’ category A and B after the second round. His performance places him ahead by two strokes as he navigated through the challenges of the course.

On the opening day, Chawla led the leaders’ pack with a score of 4-under 66. He was closely followed by Delhi’s Kartik Singh and Anshul Mishra at third. “It was a challenging day, especially after a double bogey on hole 18, where my tee shot went out of bounds. I managed 11 pars and 5 birdies,” said Chawla. A student of Strawberry Fields High School, Sector 26, Chawla had earned recognition as the second runner-up in the National IGU NCR Junior Boys Golf Championship in Noida and triumphed in the Northern India Junior Boys Golf Championship at the Chandigarh Golf Club.
