Sharma said it was shameful on the part of Kulwant Singh to betray the party. “Whatever Kulwant is today is because of our party. People will teach him and his gang a lesson in the forthcoming civic body elections.”

“In the last municipal elections, Kulwant contested as an Independent to help the Congress. He is resorting to the same trick again.”

He said Kulwant did not even think twice before supporting local Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu, who even profiteered from the Covid-19 pandemic by resorting to scams under the garb of procuring gloves and protective kits.
