KV AFS High Grounds win handball title

PM Shri KV AFS High Grounds defeated hosts St Xavier’s Senior Secondary School, Sector 44, to win the 21st St Xavier’s Inter-School Handball Trophy. The title winners posted a 36-20 win over the Sector 44 team. Tanvi gathered 12 points and Seerat added seven for the winners, while Anika (8 points) and Prabhnoor (4 points) made contribution for the hosts.

St Xavier’s High School, Panchkula, posted a 36-6 win over Chitkara International School, Sector 25, to claim the third position. Enaya starred in the team’s win by taking 12 points, while Seerat added 10 points and Saranya nine. Ekamjeet, Daksh and Ishpreet — all scored two goals each for the Sector 25 team.

Seerat Sidhu Brar of PM Shri KV AFS High Grounds was awarded for being the top scorer of the tournament, while Anika of St Xavier School, Sector 44, was adjudged as the best hustler. Enaya of St Xavier’s, Panchkula, was named Player of the Tournament.
