Labourer falls off roof in Lalru, dies

A 49-year-old labourer died after falling off the roof of a private firm in Sarsini, Lalru, on Friday morning. He has been identified as Naib Singh, a resident of Ward No. 3, Lalru.

ASI Nirbhai Singh, from the Lalru police station, said Naib Singh had worked as an employee in the yarn-manufacturing unit for the past eight years.

While working on the 18-foot-high roof of the company, Naib Singh felt dizzy and fell on the ground. He was admitted to a private hospital in Ambala where he died during treatment.
