Langars a mess

Outside the Gate No.1 of GMCH-32, ‘langars’ are being organised in the evenings daily. The food is served in disposable plates and containers, which are mostly disposed of at the site. Are these langars organised with any food licence? The footpath meant for pedestrians is occupied for this activity. They should be allowed only after approval from the authorties concerned with a check over quality of food and hygienic conditions maintained by them. The practice has been going on outside the hospital for the past few years. Vivek Sharma
