On the other hand, AS Gujral, counsel of the accused, said that the accused was falsely implicated in the case. After hearing of the arguments the court says that it is clear that no recovery whatsoever has been made from accused Deepak. Even the challan against the accused has been presented under Section 25 of the Arms Act. However, it is debatable as to whether said offence is made out or not when no recovery has been effected from the possession of the accused, who was in custody since March 30. The co-accused have already been granted bail, hence, in view of the said facts and circumstances, it is a fit case where bail should be granted to the accused, Deepak.

Many cases of murder, attempt to murder, dacoity and many cases under the Arms Act have been registered against the accused in the area of Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh. The police claimed that he was also behind firing incident at the house of a liquor contractor in Sector 33, Chandigarh.
