Laxmi Devi of SD Club defeated Ritika of Sector 42 Boxing Coaching Centre to win the 48-51 kg gold medal during the 23rd Senior Women Chandigarh State Boxing Championship at the Sector 42 Sports Complex. Rekha of United Club and Parineeta of Sector 32 Club claimed a joint bronze medal.

In the 51-54 kg final, Monika of Sector 32 team defeated Kajal of MCM DAV College, Sector 36, to win the gold medal, while in the 54-57 kg final, Ruchika of Guru Gobind Singh College for Women, Sector 26, defeated Deepa of Government College of Yoga and Education, Sector 23. Monika of Sector 46 Club claimed the 57-60 kg gold medal by defeating Priyanka of Sector 32 Club, while Miku Singh of Burail Club finished at third position.

In the 60-65 kg, Diya Negi of Sector 42 Boxing Centre defeated Aarti Mehra of Sector 56 Club to bag the gold medal, while Nandini of Post Graduate Government College for Girls, Sector 11, ended her campaign with a bronze. Mannu Nimavat of Sector 42 Boxing Coaching Centre won the 65-70 kg final by defeating Sakshi of Post Graduate Government College, Sector 42, and in the 70-75kg final, Anju of Sector 42 Boxing Coaching Centre ousted Monika of Sector 26 college to bag the medal.

In the 75-80 kg final, Pranshu Rathore of Sector 42 centre defeated Yogita of Eagle Club, while Nandini of Sector 42 centre defeated Priyanka of Sector 42 college to win the 80+ category gold medal.

Meanwhile, the Sector 42 Boxing Coaching Centre, claimed the overall trophy by scoring 19 points, while GGD SD College, Sector 32, finished second with 11 points. Mannu Nimawat was adjudged best boxer in the 70kg category, while Ritika was named as the promising boxer in the 51kg category.
