Le Professor FC lads will lock horns with Liberty FC in the final of the Senior State Football Championship for Chandigarh Police Shaheed Trophy on October 29.

In the first semi-finals played today, Liberty FC outclasses JSM FC by a solitary goal. After a barren first half, Liberty FC scored the only goal of the match through Navdeep in the 88th minute.

In the second semis, Le Professor FC also drubbed down Tricity FC by an identical margin of one goal. Harshit netted the only goal of the match in the 87th minute.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
