Licensing Authority extends e-auction of special registration numbers till August 22

The Registering and Licensing Authority (RLA) has extended the date for e-auction of registrations of new series ‘CH01DA’ and re-auction of leftover registration numbers of old series by a day.

Officials said the period of e-bidding of the auction has been extended till 5pm on August 22 due to some technical problems. Earlier, the auction was to be held today till 5pm.

The registration for e-auction was held from August 11 to August 18 and e-bidding started on August 19, and was to end today at 5 pm.

The re-auction is being held for the leftover special registration numbers of previous series, such as CH01CZ, CH01CY, CH01CX and CH01CW. Only those who have purchased their vehicles on a Chandigarh address will be allowed to participate in the e-auction.
