Light rain likely on Feb 22, 23

Chandigarh: Light rain is expected on February 22 and 23. According to the forecast, the weather is likely to remain dry on February 20 and 21 while there are chances of light rain on the subsequent two days. “Under the influence of a fresh western disturbance and its induced cyclonic circulation, isolated light rain is likely on February 22 and 23. Strong surface winds (25-35 kmph) are likely to prevail over Haryana and Chandigarh on February 20 and 22,” said a Met update. Meanwhile, the city today recorded 23.3°C as the maximum temperature while the minimum temperature stood at 9.2°C. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to rise gradually over the next few days.
