Literary extravaganza from November 21

The 13th edition of CLF Literati 2025, Chandigarh’s annual literature festival organised by the Chandigarh Literary Society (CLS), will be held from November 21 to 23, bringing together 27 celebrated authors, poets, filmmakers and artistes for three days of discussions, performances and book launches.

Festival Director and CLS Chairperson Sumita Misra announced that the festival will open with a cultural evening on November 21, followed by two days of literary sessions at the Lake Club, themed ‘Worlds Within Words’. The programme features 15 sessions, four book launches and a creative writing workshop. Ad guru Prahlad Kakkar, actress-poet Sandhya Mridul and IPS officer-author Amit Lodha lead this year’s star line-up. Authors from across India and one from Australia will participate in conversations curated by prominent interlocutors.

Literary discussions open on November 22 with addresses by Misra and Sahitya Akademi president Madhav Kaushik, followed by sessions featuring Prahlad Kakkar, Shahid Siddiqui, Rasheed Kidwai, Neerja Chowdhury, Deep Halder and Rami Desai, among others. On November 23, Day 3, the festival will open with a creative writing workshop followed by sessions on spirituality, wellness with nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar, true-crime storytelling with IPS officer Amit Lodha, and author interactions featuring Sean Doyle, Shobha Tharoor, Manjari Chaturvedi and Ashwin Sanghi.

Two books—‘Life, Love and Us’ by Sonia Vashisht Oberoi and ‘Echoes of the Soul’ by Ravee Pandher—will also be launched. The festival will conclude with the CLF Literati awards ceremony.
