Bahra conveyed wishes to the staff and students. He said Lohri was celebrated to mark the end of peak winter and it was traditionally associated with the harvest of Rabi crops.

The VC said: “Lohri is the harvest festival of Punjab. Thus, people residing in Punjab attach great significance to Lohri, the festival of feasts and foods.”
