Look into demands of SC/BC employees’ assn: Centre to Chandigarh

The Centre has asked the UT Administration to look into the demands of Dr BR Ambedkar SC/BC Employees Welfare Association, Chandigarh.

The instructions followed a letter sent by former MP and senior BJP leader Satya Pal Jain to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, along with the charter of the demands of the association.

This is in response to a letter sent by former MP and senior BJP leader Satya Pal Jain to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, along with the charter of the demands of the association.

The Union Home Ministry in turn sent the letter as well as the memorandum of demands to the Adviser to the UT Administrator for necessary action.

A delegation of the association had met Jain a few days back and submitted him a memorandum of demands.

In the memorandum, the association had said the UT Administration was not implementing the reservation policy in its true spirit.
