MA Khan, Patel win TT title

MA Khan and Animesh Singh Patel won the men’s doubles title on the concluding day of the Shaheed Udham Singh Memorial Table Tennis Tournament at the Sector 23 table tennis hall. The winning pair defeated Jaswinder Singh and Sunil Manchanda to bag the title.

In the lucky doubles category, Khan and Harpreet Singh defeated Jawahar Bhandari and Sunil Manchanda to win the title. The matches were played in two categories, doubles and lucky doubles.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
