Chandigarh: Maid booked for stealing Rs 45,000 cash

A maid has been booked by the UT police for stealing Rs 45,000 from a house in Sector 29. The house owner reported that the money kept in an almirah was allegedly stolen by her maid, Tania (28), a resident of Ram Darbar. She came to know about the theft on July 21. A case has been registered.
