Make new schools functional soon, UT Adviser directs officials

UT Adviser Dharam Pal today visited two newly constructed schools at Raipur Kalan, Phase III, and Makhan Majra, along with the Secretary, Education, Chief Engineer-cum-Special Secretary (Engineering), Director, School Education, and other officials of the Administration.
It was explained during the site visit that to meet the demands of residents of Raipur Kalan and surrounding areas, two new government high schools have been constructed in Raipur Kalan and Makhan Majra to facilitate schoolchildren.
The school at Raipur Kalan, Phase III, is being upgraded to the senior-secondary level for the benefit of children of nearby areas. Each new school building has G 3 floors, a provision for 48 classrooms, principal office, staff room, office room, mid-day meal room, girls and boys toilets, water station, library, activity room, chemistry, physics and biology laboratories.
Dharam Pal directed the officials concerned to make the schools functional from the upcoming academic session by providing various required infrastructure.
The new school in Makhan Majra will operate as a high school and the other school in Raipur Kalan, Phase III, will function as a senior secondary school.
