The police have arrested a 31-year-old for allegedly stealing the cashbox from Sri Jagannath Mandir, Sector 31.

The accused in the incident, which took on February 7, has been identified as Ankur, a resident of Phase-1, Ram Darbar.

The theft case had been registered on the complaint of Santosh Panda at the Sector 31 police station.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
