A 30-year-old man has been arrested for thefts of wheels and tyres in the city. His arrest has led to the recovery of 27 tyres and alloy wheels.
The suspect has been identified as Harsimran Singh, alias Simi, a resident of Patiala.

The police said a total of 27 wheels, including 16 regarding which cases were recently registered at the Sector 39 police station, had been recovered from the suspect.
A car and tools the suspect used to steal the wheels have also been seized.

The police said the suspect had returned from Germany and was unemployed.
