Man dies as garbage van hits scooter in Mohali
A scooter-bone man was killed after being hit by a garbage van on Mubarikpur road today.
The deceased, who has since been identified as Yogesh Kumar, a resident of Mubarikpur, used to run a canteen in an industrial unit at Dera Bassi.
He was riding his scooter on Tuesday morning when the garbage van, the driver of which remains unidentified, hit him.
The victim is suvived by his wife and two children.
The police have sent the victim’s body to the mortuary at the Dera Bassi Civil Hospital.
Sharing futher details, police officials said a casehas been registered at the Dera Bassi police station and an investigation has been launched.
