Man ends his life in Sector 52, Chandigarh

Chandigarh, July 31

A 58-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself at his house in Sector 52. No suicide note was found.

The victim has been identified as Ashwani Sood, who worked with a private company in Ambala. The police said the victim slept in a separate room last night. In the morning, the victim’s wife went to his room to give him tea and found him hanging. The victim was depressed and was suffering from a liver problem. His samples have been sent for the Covid test. — TNS
