A 56-year-old man was found dead at a park in Palsora village last night. The victim used to work at a tailor’s shop.

According to the police, information regarding a man lying unconscious at a park was received following which a police team reached the spot.

The victim, identified as Dyal (56), was rushed to the GMSH, Sector 16, where doctors declared him brought dead.

The police said the victim took liquor after which he fell asleep on a bench at the park. The police said no injury mark was found on the body. “Prima facie, no foul play came to light,” the police said.

The body has been kept at the mortuary and inquest proceedings have been initiated into the matter at the Sector 39 police station. — TNS
