Man found dead at Siswan dam

A Kaimbwala resident was found dead at Siswan dam on Saturday afternoon. He has been identified as Krishan, a scrap dealer of Nayagaon. A father of two, he had reportedly gone to the dam with his two friends and a girl in a car around 11 am on Saturday.

The police said his friends said Krishan had gone to answer the call of nature when he slipped and fell into a ditch. However, family members of the deceased have alleged foul play. They questioned why his friends fled the spot after the incident.

The police said they were investigating the case from all angles.

The body was kept in the mortuary of the hospital for post-mortem examination, said the police.
