Man found dead in under-construction building in Mohali

Mohali, May 21

The police found an unidentified body of a man in the basement of an under-construction building in Phase 1 here on Thursday.

The body, estimated to be a week old, was floating in pool of rain water, said the police, adding that children from a nearby area, who used to play at the site, saw the body first and intimated the contractor who further informed the police.

The body has been shifted to the Civil Hospital mortuary and the matter is being investigated, said the police. — TNS
