Man found dead in GMADA office

Mohali, August 2
The body of visitor was found in the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) office in Sector 62 here after almost 12 hours today.
The deceased Mohan Garg, a former employee of the development authority earlier posted in Bathinda, had come here for an inquiry about his plot in Mullanpur, yesterday afternoon. However, when he did not reach home till late in the evening, the family members raised an alarm and contacted the police.
After his mobile phone location was traced to the GMADA office, a search was launched and the man was found dead in a toilet. His dead body lay in the toiled overnight and was retrieved by the police on Friday morning.
Police took the body in possession and kept it in the mortuary of Mohali’s Phase-6 Civil Hospital. The police have found no document on him and the exact cause of the death was not known yet. Police officials said the cause of death will be known after the post-mortem examination. In the CCTV footage of the office, the body of the senior citizen can be seen stretchered off the premises.
