Man held for harassing girls

Mohali: The police have arrested a person for harassing girls in Mohali city by sending them obscene messages through the social media. The suspect has been identified as Chhotu Lal, alias Chhotu, a native of Maharajganj in UP, and at present residing near Janta Chowk in Kharar. A case has been registered under section 354-A of the IPC, 67 of the IT Act at the City Kharar police station. TNS

Vax centres at Boothgarh

Mohali: Covid vaccination has started for every person above the age of 18 years at the Primary Health Centre, Boothgarh, and its adjoining health centres. Senior Medical Officer Jaskirandeep Kaur said permanent immunisation centres had been set up at Boothgarh, Khizrabad and Palheri while the rest of the centers were conducting vaccination on different days.
