High drama was witnessed at City Emporium Mall, Industrial Area, Phase 1, last night after a 29-year-old man threatened to jump from the third floor of the mall along with his two-year-old child following a tiff with his wife. The entire incident was caught on CCTV cameras installed at the mall.

Sources said Sandeep Kumar (29), a resident of Phase 1, Ram Darbar, arrived at the mall along with his wife Shalni and kid to have dinner.

The family had dinner and Sandeep also took liquor after which the couple entered into an argument over some issue.

Sandeep got angry and went to the third floor of the mall through the escalator.

He then threatned to jump from the escalator along with his child.

His wife raised the alarm following which security guards and employees of Playboy and The Horseshoe Bar Exchange reached there. The police also reached the spot. The police tried to pacify the man. However, he kept on threatening to jump.

In the meantime, Shubham, owner of the Playboy club, caught hold of the man. Shubham rescued the child and the police then caught the man. The police said Sandeep was arrested under preventive measures on a complaint of his wife.
