Jamboree, an annual series of class shows of Manav Mangal Smart World, concluded with a two-day event. The show began with a welcome song by students of the junior wing, followed by ‘Ganesh Vandana’ by students of Classes I and II. Fashion show, contemporary dance, drama and other performances were part of the event. Parents and guests applauded the performance of students.

CRB Public, Chandigarh

CRB Public School, Sector 7-B, Chandigar, organised a three-day annual sports meet. Tiny tots were thrilled to participate in various fun-filled races. Students of Classes I to VIII showcased their skills in bend race, lemon-and-spoon race, balancing race, one-legged race, three-legged race, kho-kho, dodge ball, long jump, badminton, skating, carom, chess, shot put , sack race, cone race, fun race and several other events. Winners were honoured with medals, trophies and certificates by Principal Sangeeta Mittal and Director Naveen Mittal.

Sacred Heart, Chandigarh

Kashish Dalal and Nyasa Chauhan, NCC cadets of Class IX, brought laurels to the school by representing the Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh directorate at the Republic Day Camp. The directorate stood first from among 16 participating directorates. VP Badnore, Governor, Punjab, felicitated the students.

Hubble Adarsh, Kalewal

Hubble Adarsh Senior Secondary School celebrated their annual event with zeal and enthusiasm. The chief guest declared the event open by lighting a lamp and offering prayers to Goddess Saraswati. Students from the pre-primary to middle wing participated in the event and entertained the audience.

AKSIPS-45, Chandigarh

An inter-school rhyme recitation competition, ‘Rising Stars 2020’, was organised to hone the intrinsic and latent abilities of students, who showcased their inherent talent and left everyone mesmerised. AKSIPS-45 Smart School won the first prize, Ashiana Public School was the runner-up and the third position was bagged by Aanchal International School.

DAV Police Public, Panchkula

DAV Police Public School, Panchkula, organised a blood donation camp, in association with Rotary Midtown. A team of six doctors and assistants of Government Hospital, Sector 6, Panchkula, visited the school for collecting blood. As many as 50 units of blood were collected during the camp.

St Teresa Convent, Panchkula

A farewell party was organised at Hotel Pallavi, Sector 5, for Classes X and XII. Navya Sharma and Manupriy of Class XII were adjudged as Ms and Mr Teresa in 2019-20, respectively. Suhani and Vinit of Class X won the title of Ms and Mr Confident, respectively.

Aanchal International, Chandigarh

Aanchal International School organised various competitions for students of the junior and senior wing. ‘Budding Phonic Master’ was organised for kindergarten students.

Sky World School, Panchkula

A three-day book fair was organised for children to discover the pleasure and power of reading.

Gurukul Global, Chandigarh

A havan was performed for the students of Class XII to wish them good luck for the forthcoming board exams. Before the havan, an orientation was conducted for students wherein instructions were given to them about attempting the paper and their queries were also taken up. tns
