Masih provided security at home

Anil Masih, who has been accused of tempering with ballot papers by the Opposition in the mayoral polls, has been provided security by the city police. Masih was the presiding officer for the polls.

A policeman has been deployed at his residence on the PEC campus. He was provided security by the police after he reported that he was feeling threatened by people.

“These people have been saying so many things against me. I feel threatened. I am even worried for my family. That is why the security man has been provided to me,” said Masih.

The Opposition councillors have alleged Masih, who is a nominated councillor and former general secretary of the BJP’s minority wing, rigged the mayoral polls.
