In a step toward fostering patriotism and promoting cleanliness, the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation today launched ‘Har Ghar Tiranga, Har Ghar Swachhata’ campaign under the Swachh Bharat Mission.

Mayor Harpreet Kaur Babla unveiled the official poster and kicked off the weeklong celebrations to be held from August 8 to August 15.

The campaign features an exciting line-up of events, including a Tiranga Fair, Tiranga Concert and widespread promotion of eco-friendly Tricolour. The Mayor urged every citizen to take a pledge this Independence Day to segregate waste at source, aiming for Chandigarh to clinch the top rank in the Swachhata competition.

The Tiranga Fair will spotlight local entrepreneurs and reinforce the ‘Vocal for Local’ initiative, while the Tiranga Concert promises to stir patriotic pride through soulful performances.
