City Mayor Kuldeep Kumar visited Dadu Majra village today to evaluate the progress of ongoing development projects and address issues being faced by local residents. He was accompanied by senior officials from the Public Health and Horticulture Departments of the Municipal Corporation of Chandigarh.
During the visit, the Mayor took note of the residents’ complaints about frequent sewer blockages and instructed the public health engineers to prioritise upgrading the sewerage. He emphasised the need for swift action, directing the immediate deployment of jetting machines and advanced bandicoot robots to clear the blockages.

In addition to addressing the sewer system problem, the Mayor also inspected the area’s horticulture and sanitation conditions. He told the officials to ensure regular garbage collection and proper waste disposal to keep the village clean and hygienic.
