Haryana’s Medhavi Nagar will face Tanvi Sharma in the girls’ U-19 title clash on the concluding day of the Smt Krishna Khaitan Memorial All-India Junior Ranking Badminton Tournament at the Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Sector 3, here.

In the semifinals played today, Medhavi overpowered a tough challenge from Chhattisgarh’s Tanoo Chandra and won 21-15, 19-21, 21-18, while Tanvi took no time in defeating Rujula Ramu 23-21, 21-9. In the boys’ U-19 event, Delhi’s Ginpaul S moved ahead in the final by defeating Rajasthan’s Manish Phogat 21-16, 21-9, while Sanskar Saraswat toppled Manipur’s Malemnganba Singh Hemam 21-5, 21-13.

The team of Vinayakram GP and Swastik Matharasan defeated Bala Pranay Pragada and Pranit Somani 21-13, 21-8 in the first semi of the boys’ U-19 doubles event. In the following semifinal, Arsh Mohammad and Sanskar defeated Vishnu Kedhar Kode and Mithileish P Krishnan 21-12, 21-14. In the girls’ U-19 doubles semis, Pragati Parida and Vishakha Toppo ousted Lalrempuii and Tanoo 21-18, 21-18. They will be facing Diya Bheemaiah B and Baruni Parshwal, who defeated Zenith Abbigail and Durga Isha Kandrapu 21-19, 21-15 in the final.

The mixed doubles pair of Lalramsanga C and Vishakha defeated Divyansh Rawat and Zenith Abbigail 21-19, 21-12, while Mithileish P Krishnan and Manya Ralhan defeated Bornil Akash Changmai and Akshita Manral 21-9, 20-22, 22-20.
