A review meeting was held on departmental actions regarding complaints received through the Public Grievance Redressal System (PGRS) and e-Services portal.

During the meeting, Chief Minister’s Field Officer Navjot Sharma emphasised the Punjab Government was committed to providing accessible, efficient and transparent services to the public while ensuring the timely resolution of grievances. To achieve this, the state had been leveraging the PGRS.

Sharma said all departments must prioritise resolving complaints on the PGRS portal within the stipulated timelines. Taking serious note of pending grievances in certain departments, he instructed officials concerned to resolve these issues immediately and submit a status report within two days. Sharma made it clear that officials concerned would be held accountable for any delay in addressing complaints. At a meeting with nodal officers, Sharma listed instructions for improving efficiency.
