Meghwal hands over job letters to 56 appointees
Union Law and Justice Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal handed over appointment letters to 56 newly recruited youth at the 15th tranche of the Rozgar Mela held at Red Bishop Complex, Panchkula, today.
The event, organised by the Office of the Principal Commissioner of Income Tax, was part of a nationwide campaign where Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually distributed over 51,000 appointment letters across India.
Congratulating the appointees, Meghwal urged them to serve the nation with integrity and dedication. He termed the appointments as crucial opportunities to contribute to India’s holistic development and reiterated the government’s pledge to create 10 lakh government jobs.
Highlighting India’s economic achievements, Meghwal stated that the country had risen from the world’s 10th to the fifth largest economy since 2014 and was on track to become the third largest by 2027. He attributed the increase in GST and Income Tax revenues to transparent and resilient policies. The minister also encouraged the recruits to utilise the Karmayogi portal to enhance their skills for future leadership roles
A two-minute silence was also observed in memory of the victims of the recent Pahalgam terrorist attack.
