Chandigarh: Mercury drops by 6.5 degrees
Partly cloudy weather likely over next five days

The residents had some relief from the scorching heat today with the city recording the maximum temperature at 31.1° C, which is 6.5 degrees below the normal temperature.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 36°C yesterday. This pleasant change in the weather was attributed to yesterday’s rainfall (12.9 mm).

The weather is expected to be partly cloudy with thundery development over the next five days.
