MeT predicts more rain in Chandigarh
The city is likely to witness rain for the next two days following which the weather is likely to remain cloudy for at least three days.
According to the Chandigarh Meteorological Department, it rained 8.7mm till 8:30 am today. So far, 652.3mm rain has been recorded during the ongoing monsoon season. It is 13.1% less than normal rain of the season.
Meanwhile, the maximum temperature was recorded at 33.9°C in the city today, which is a degree more than normal. The minimum temperature was 26°C, which is also a notch above normal. As per the forecast, there is no major change expected either in the day or night’s temperature.
