Minerva Academy play draw with Punjab FC
Minerva Academy U-17 Football Club continued their impressive run in the Youth League by securing a crucial draw against ISL side Punjab FC.
This hard-fought draw ensured that Minerva remained at the top of the table. The team had faced a stiff competition in the group stages, which had tough opponents such as I-League outfits Delhi FC and strong youth sides like Bhaichung Bhutia Football Schools.
Meanwhile, both teams created scoring opportunities, but the game ultimately ended with just two goals at 1-1. Rennin was the hero for Minerva Academy FC, as he scored the equaliser in the 55th minute. This crucial strike ensured that the team earned a valuable point, maintaining their position at the top of the group.
