Minerva Academy win Norway Cup

Minerva Academy FC has won Norway Cup 2025 to complete their Europe Tour. In the final, Minerva defeated Norwegian team SIF 14-1. Danamoni and Raj scored hat-tricks, while Chingkhe, K Chetan, Punshiba and Amarson, besides Azam and Reesan, also got their names on the score sheet.

In the league round, Minerva registered three consecutive wins. They defeated Aksala IL 25-0, Forde IL 3 15-0 and Krokelvdalen IL 22-0 and finished on top after scoring 62 goals.

The team continued to register wins in the knockout rounds as well. After defeating Roglands BK 11-0 in the Round of 32, they crushed Amdal-Tokke FK 17-0 in the Round of 16. The city boys were not ready to give up. In the quarterfinals, they defeated FK Fyllingsdalen 18-1. Raj, Punshiba, Reeson, Tony, Mahtab, Danamoni and K. Chethan were on the score sheet.

In the semifinals, the Indian club defeated Palestine’s Ramathel Charif Club 8-2. Reeson put up an unstoppable performance with a hat-trick. Raj-Punshiba also contributed to the team’s victory. This was the third win of the team after winning the World Youth Cup and Dana Cup.
