Minor molested, cousin booked in Zirakpur

Zirakpur: The police have registered a case under the POCSO Act against the cousin of a 15-year-old girl for molestation. On the complaint of the victim’s mother, a resident of Harmilap Nagar area, police booked Baltana resident Kuldeep Kumar for allegedly breaking into the victim’s house on August 15 and molesting her. The victim was alone at her home in a slum area as her mother had gone for work. The suspect fled the spot after the victim raised an alarm, she said. A case has been registered. —TNS
