Minor raped on marriage pretext

Dera Bassi, July 13

The police booked a Dera Bassi resident on the charge of raping a minor girl on the pretext of marrying her.

The victim stated that she came in contact with the suspect, Aman Khan, and on January 9, he took her to a hotel, raped her and shot explicit pictures and videos.

The suspect threatened her on June 19 and forced her to come again to the hotel.

The victim revealed the matter to her parents following which they approached the police.
