Chandigarh, September 2
Consequent upon relieving of Arun Kumar Gupta, Home Secretary, and Kamal Kishor Yadav, Municipal Commissioner, on the completion of their inter-cadre deputation period, UT Adviser Dharam Pal today re-distributed the charges of various departments among officers.
Debendra Dalai (IFS), Chief Conservator of Forests, has been assigned the charges of Secretary Tourism, and Chairman, CITCO. Dr Vijay Namdeorao Zade, Finance Secretary, has been assigned the charges of 21 departments, including Secretary, Planning, Excise and Taxation, Industries, Planning, Home, Revenue, Agriculture, Urban Planning and Engineering.
CHB Secretary relieved
The UT Administration on Thursday relieved Radhika Singh, Secretary, Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB), after the completion of her inter-cadre deputation period with the Chandigarh Administration, to enable her to join her patent state of Haryana.
Yashpal Garg, Chief Executive Officer, Chandigarh Housing Board, has been assigned the charges of Secretary Health, Medical Education and Research and Hospitality.
In another reshuffle, Rubinderjit Singh Brar, who was relieved from the post of the Director School Education, has been given the charge of Chief General Manager, CITCO, and Additional Secretary, Health and Director AYUSH.
Similarly, Rakesh Kumar Popli has been given the charges of Secretary, Chandigarh Housing Board, and Director Hospitality.
Pradhuman Singh, Registering and Licensing Authority, has been given the charge of Director Transport-cum-(ex-officio)-Joint Secretary, Transport, and Divisional Manager, CTU.
Sorabh Kumar Arora, Assistant Excise and Taxation Commissioner, has been given the charge of Director, Museum and Art Gallery, and he was relieved from the MC.
Palika Arora, who recently joined from Punjab, has been given the charges of Director School Education and Director Higher Education. — TNS
