Mohali club firing accused sent to police remand
A local court sent a Bestech Mall club owner, Aditya Vij, to a one-day police custody in connection with the recent firing incident.
The police arrested Vij, who runs The Skull club at the mall, and another person, Tushar Gupta, for firing a gunshot at Sriganganagar native Sidharth Delu after an altercation around 1 am on Thursday. The victim was involved in an altercation with the suspects over rowdy behaviour but the matter was resolved. The suspect fled the spot after firing a gunshot at him but was later apprehended with his accomplice.
Further investigation into the matter is underway, DSP City-2 Harsimran Singh Bal said. —TNS
