The Mohali Golf Range reopened for golfers and its members today.
The range will be open on all working days from 7am to 11am and 4pm to 7.30pm for playing facility. However, persons above 65 years and children below 10 years will not be allowed to practice in the range, till the further orders, informed Harmeet Kahlon, Director Coaching. “We have introduced a special procedure in the hitting area wherein no one is allowed to touch the golf balls with hands, rims are fixed on pins to remove balls with putter, maintaining mandatory 2m distance and no picking of balls from the chipping area,” said Kahlon. The members are already informed that the range will adhere to the SOPs issued by the Government of India throughout the operational time. “It has been already informed to users that they have to carry their own water bottles, wear masks and download Arogya Setu Application along with following other safety measures,” Kahlon added.
