The Maharaja Ranjit Singh Armed Forces Preparatory Institute (MRSAFPI), Mohali, achieved another success as its Cadet Harshit Chaudhary, resident of Talwara in Hoshiarpur district, commenced training at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala in Kerala.

The institute has seen a total of 238 cadets entering different defence training academies, with 160 successfully commissioned as officers in the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force.

Punjab Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Minister Aman Arora said 15 cadets have successfully cleared the Services Selection Board (SSB) interviews and are now anticipating their joining letters to commence training at the National Defence Academy (NDA) to pursue their journey towards becoming commissioned officers in the Indian Armed Forces. — TNS
